The Principles of CNT
This union is governed by the principles of revolutionary syndicalism:
a) The principle of Self-managment: We believe that the people who make the decisions are those who are affected by them. If no one works for you, no one should decide for you. That's why CNT is an assembly-based union: the members' assembly always makes the decisions.
b) The principle of Federalism: Each union in CNT has the autonomy to act within its area and join in confederacy with the rest of the unions to act together.
c) The principle of Solidarity and Mutual Aid: Every union in CNT establishes an agreement of solidarity with the rest of the confederation so that any attack made on any part is responded to by all. The same can be said of the members of each union.
